We take all pertinent information into account when we answer a request for an inspection. It helps us plan our approach.
Example #1
- the back side of a wall that had a slow dripping ice maker line. Example #1 IR (infrared) is what that same wall looks like through a thermal imaging camera.
Example #2
- is an upstairs toilet that overflowed. A small drip appeared downstairs below. The IR camera gave us a more precise evaluation.
We use a variety of tools for our inspections depending on the need. We use thermal imaging in conjunction with penetrating moisture meters, scanning moisture meters, and hygrometers to measure humidity. We use boriscopes to get in behind cabinets without having to disengage them from the wall. We also use UV light and urine meters to evaluate the extent of pet damage.
